"The Powerpuff Girls"
Cross-Stitched Piece & Stop Motion

Ahhh, Sugar, Spice & Everything Nice...

Ever wondered how the Powerpuff Girls would have turned out if Chemical X had just stood for cross-stitch? Well, you’re welcome. Call me Professor Utonium!

Yes, I cross-stitched the Powerpuff Girls! This embroidery piece consists of 2974 stitches (893 for Bubbles; 1136 for Blossom; 945 for Buttercup). It is 188x114mm and uses 10 thread colours: black, white, grey, beige, red, green, blue, yellow, orange, pink.

It took me a week to cross-stitch my girls and take all 1109 photos for my stop motion. Altogether, it took me about 32 hours! This piece fits snug inside a 22cm embroidery hoop.
